Artificial silk:
strong, beautiful and all around us ways

From its aesthetic contribution in artificial plants and flowers, to more practical uses such as protective clothing, artificial silk gives strength, weight and durability to many everyday products and applications.

It is also used in upholstery, parachutes, flags and carpets.

Artificial silk is produced in crucibles made of PGMs and their alloys where extremely high temperatures and these metals' catalytic qualities infuse with maximum efficiency the reaction necessary to achieve synthesis.
